Belfast Philharmonic Choir presents a programme of choral works specifically composed to be performed in large churches, which will be sung in Belfast’s beautiful St Anne’s Cathedral. The concert includes the ever-popular I Was Glad by Hubert Parry in his centenary year, first performed in Westminster Abbey, and Vierne's monumental Messe Solennelle, written while Vierne was assistant organist at the Church of Saint-Sulpice in Paris.

This concert makes full use of the glorious acoustics of St Anne’s, the music complementing the architecture, ringing with celebration and remembrance.
