Holy Week Services at Belfast Cathedral
The details for cathedral services through Holy Week and Easter are as follows:
Monday 29 March - 1.00pm - Livestreamed Daily Prayer
Tuesday 30 March - 1.00pm - Livestreamed Daily Prayer
Wednesday 31 March - 1.00pm - Livestreamed Daily Prayer
Maundy Thursday, 1 April - 7.30pm - Livestreamed Choral Eucharist
From Friday 2 April congregational worship within the cathedral is permitted. We encourage any who wish to come in person to join us, but the following services will continue to be livestreamed. Please note that it is necessary to book to attend the 7.30pm Good Friday Evening Service. Contact details are provided below.
Friday 2 April - 12noon to 3.00pm - Seven Last Words of Jesus From the Cross led by the Right Reverend Harold Miller
Friday 2 April - 7.30 to 8.45pm - Service of Reflection featuring Stainer's Crucifixion. For this Good Friday evening service we will be seating individuals and groups at 2 metre distancing. To reserve seats please email admin@belfastcathedral.org with the details of the grouping and any 'bubbles' that can be seated together.
Easter Sunday, 4 April - 11.00am - Festival Choral Eucharist.
It is not necessary to book for this service. At present the congregational capacity within the cathedral is 120.
Please remember that all attending in person are required to wear face coverings and will complete their contact details for "track and trace".
