Belfast Cathedral - Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter 2025

All are invited to join us at Belfast Cathedral for our

Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter Day Services for 2025. 

 

Palm Sunday – 13th April

11.00am   Palm Sunday Procession, Dramatised Passion Narrative & Choral Eucharist.

We will make the most of this year's Palm Sunday Procession, with our cathedral choristers and choir leading the congregation in a re-enactment of the first Palm Sunday journey with Jesus and the disciples. This will be followed by a dramatised narration of the Passion Gospel, before the Choir sings Michael Haydn's Missa Tempore Quadragesimae setting for the Palm Sunday Eucharist.

 Then for Palm Sunday Evening:

COME AND SING - John Stainer’s The Crucifixion

4.30pm     Come and Sing! Rehearsal for all participants.

If you love singing this wonderful piece, please join us on Palm Sunday afternoon, to rehearse for the evening performance.
