You are most welcome to join us for our services of worship. Prayers take place on most days when the Cathedral is open, and we are most keen to welcome visitors to our choral services on Sundays and Fridays, sung by our wonderful choir.

All are welcome to join our warm regular congregation for a spoken service in which the Word and Sacrament are shared.

13:00 - The Church’s Ministry of Healing Service
A service of prayers for healing, taking place in the Cathedral hall.
17:30 - Choral Evensong
Choral Evensong is a beautiful traditional service during which the ‘song’ of voices sounding together in harmony is heard at the ‘even’ point between the active day and restful night, allowing listeners time for restful contemplation at the end of a busy day. The service is led by the cathedral choir and includes the bible readings for the day, prayers and congregational hymns. There is no Friday Evensong during July and August, as the choir are on summer recess.

15:30 - Choral Evensong
Choral Evensong is a beautiful traditional service during which the ‘song’ of voices sounding together in harmony is heard at the ‘even’ point between the active day and restful night, allowing listeners time for restful contemplation at the end of a busy day. The service is led by the cathedral choir and includes the bible readings for the day, prayers and congregational hymns. During July and August, while our choir are on summer recess, our service is a more simple service of Evening Prayer, usually with congregational hymns.
