To raise awareness this year on World Habitat Day, Habitat for Humanity has this to say:
We believe that everyone, everywhere deserves a safe place to live. COVID has revealed the extent of the world’s housing crisis and the need for safe homes with access to water and sanitation.
When the world is more fearful and divided than ever; Habitat’s fierce commitment to the equality of all people continues to inspire us.
Every year on World Habitat Day, we work to draw attention to the urgent need for shelter.
During these difficult times, most of us are able to be safe at home and we hope that praying volunteers and supporters will join us to pray for our work at home and around the world, on Wednesday 7th October.
