Services Sunday 27 February
You are welcome to join us at 11.00am on Sunday 27 February 2022, which is the Sunday before Lent, marking The Transfiguration of the Lord. The service will be Choral Eucharist, with the Dean as celebrant and Reverend Canon Mark Niblock as preacher. At the beginning of the service the Presentation of the Choristers will take place.
Please note that seating will be by alternate rows, and we ask that 2 vacant chairs (1m) be kept between groups. Holy Communion can be received in both kinds, using individual cups following the consecration. Tea and coffee will be served following the service.
The musical setting for Choral Eucharist will be Communion Service in G by Francis Jackson. Belfast Cathedral Children's Choir will sing the Gradual Anthem, Make me a light by Philip Wilby, and the Communion Motet, My eyes for beauty pine by Matthew Owens.
Choral Evensong will take place at 3.30pm:

Following the downgrading of Covid restrictions to guidelines we respectfully ask you to wear a face covering when inside the building during the service, but especially when singing the hymns.
Social distancing guidelines should be observed during and after the service.
