Culture Night Belfast 2025
Belfast Cathedral was back at the heart of Culture Night on Friday, as local creatives performed both in and around our church building.
The night began with Choral Evensong, introducing plenty of newcomers to the rich musical and worshipping culture of our Anglican tradition. This performance featured Dan Locklair's hauntingly beautiful setting of the Aaronic Blessing, alongside music written in house: both the Preces and Responses and the Evening Service from our Master of Music, Jack Wilson, and the chant for Psalm 101 from choir stalwart John McDonald.
Things got louder from 7pm onwards, with the Belfast Ukulele Band taking centre stage, followed by a local Rock Choir from 8pm.
We're thrilled that Culture Night is back, and we love encouraging the God-given creativity of local artists. See you again next year!
